Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor hailing from Bahrain's Manama was born into an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. Jacqueline is the youngest of two siblings and has a brother who is older. Her parents relocated to Bahrain in 1980s due to the Lankan turmoil and she was raised in Bahrain. When she finished her studies in Bahrain, she was awarded a Scholarship to attend Sydney's University of Sydney, where she pursued a degree with a major in Media and Communications in Sydney, Australia. To enhance her interest in cultures, languages and other languages she enrolled in the Berlitz schools of languages where she was able to learn Spanish as well as improve French as well as Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she won the title in 2006. The TV show she appeared on was founded after winning an award for the Miss Sri Lanka title. The show she hosts, Lanka Business Report, covers Sri Lankan business. Padukone, her mother was the famous badminton star Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and was raised in Bangalore. She played badminton at the national championships when she was young teenagers, however she decided to give up her sport career in order to be a model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean background and her native language is Konkani. Padukone, a village in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi located in Karnataka State in India, is where her ancestry is derived from. Prakash Padukone has retired as a world-renowned athlete in badminton and her mother is also a travel agent.
